AI Estimate Mode
Build smart home estimates by chatting with the AI — describe what your customer needs and the system builds the estimate for you.
AI Estimate Mode lets you create estimates through a conversational interface instead of the step-by-step wizard. Describe what your customer needs in plain language, and the AI builds out rooms and devices in real time.
How it works
Start a new AI estimate
From the Estimates page, click New Estimate and select AI Mode. You'll see a split-screen layout:
- Left panel: Live estimate preview that updates as the AI works
- Right panel: Chat interface
Describe the project
Tell the AI about the customer's home and requirements. For example:
"3BHK apartment in Mumbai, 1200 sqft, ready to move in. Customer wants full lighting automation, curtain control in the living room and master bedroom, and AC control in all rooms."
Refine through conversation
The AI builds the estimate and you can refine it conversationally:
- "Add a motion sensor in the hallway"
- "Switch to KNX protocol for the living room"
- "Remove the IR blaster from the kitchen"
- "What would you recommend for the balcony?"
The left panel updates in real time as you chat.
Review and generate report
Once satisfied, click Generate Report to produce the full itemised estimate with pricing, GST, and PDF.
AI Mode is best for quick estimates or when you want to explore options conversationally. For precise room-by-room control with floor plan mapping, use the standard 3-step wizard.
